Designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1949 and executed by Johannes Hansen in Copenhagen, the JH 503 remains one of his most recognizable chair designs. This group is executed in Burmese teak, with the sculpted crescent backrest and sweeping grain giving each frame a warm, distinctive character.
